Our high performance replacement lower blade for the Venture 25, fits the fiberglass (or wood) and aluminum upper rudder-heads. Our replacement blade offers a high performance airfoil shape that will improve your Venture's handling in all conditions, including, crisper tacking, faster off the wind, and more lift to weather. Carved on our proprietary equipment from a solid HDPE blank, this blade will not rot, delaminate, swell, or split. The HDPE material has tremendous abrasion resistance and exhibits a co-efficient of friction equal to water's co-efficient of friction for a super durable, slippery rudder. This blade offers a true NACA 0012 airfoil section for the best lift to drag ratio.

The rudder blade section thickness where it fits your rudder-head at the pivot point is 1 3/8". This was the standard factory thickness of the original blades. If you need a thicker or thinner blade, please indicate the desired thickness in the notes when you place your order. We send these high performance blades to you without pre-drilled holes so you can install the blade for a custom fit to your rudder-head. Drilling on site is required for accurate placement of the pivot point and the hole for the up-haul/down-haul line.
