High performance replacement rudder blade for the Mac 26D daggerboard sailboats built from late 1986 to 1989. This rudder blade is a drop-in replacement for your boat's original blade, no modifications to your boat are necessary. Carved from solid HDPE and faired to an ideal NACA 0012 airfoil shape. This rudder blade was designed to help reduce weather helm and tiller effort. The true airfoil shape maximizes lift while reducing drag, making your boat faster off the wind, with more control. The boat will point higher, allowing the boat to accelerate in puffs without rounding up.

Pivot hole, shear pin, trailering and lifting line holes are drilled for your convenience when installing the rudder. If you would like the blade un-drilled, please let us know in the notes section during checkout.
